Its P*I*N*K week for Shades of Inspiration. I thought I would share 4 pics of pink flowers from my garden. The first 2 are my roses, the first is hiding under my vintage birdbath and the second is hiding in its leaves. Next are some petunias I have on the patio table and last are some impatients in a vintage clay pot. I have a TON of pink to share but we are leaving for New York this afternoon so wanted to share these before we head out. Have a great week and a wonderful 4th of July.

Our Florida Pictures.........

The first thing I did was get these tootsies in the sand!

Ready for the beach.Me riding the titanic! LOL!!!

These birds are so pretty.....it looks like he has black leggings on doesn't it! Love his yellow feet.

Love those starfish and shells on the beach......such a wonderful sight.

A storm rolled in over the beach.......everybody out of the water!

The sun over the ocean....so beautiful!

Gorgeous view of the waves. We went looking for shells and sand dollars every morning.

We went shark fishing. Here's the Hammerhead shark that Pat(the one on the left) caught.

Nick's Black Nose shark that he caught...it was too dangerous to get this one out of the water and take a picture. You can see the line still attached. He also caught a Hammerhead. Here is Brandon with his Hammerhead shark that he caught.

We had a wonderful trip!

When we were in Paris, we went on a tour of Monet's Gardens. Oh my......the breathtaking flowers and views were unbelievable. I took this picture of the "green bridge". Everyone HAS to have your picture taken on the green bridge. Look at all the different shades of green! Enjoy the Shades of Inspiration.

The Shades of Inspiration is continuing. This week the color is Green. Here is some of my Lady's Mantle from my garden. I LOVE how the leaves hold the rain and dew. Just beautiful!

We went out antiqueing today and also happened upon an estate sale. I got these fun napkin rings for 25 cents each and then got the great millinery at the next antique shop for 3.00 each. I got home and thought.......they would make cute miniature vases, so here they are.
Then I got this great sign saying2.98! How cute!
I found these great pink, green and tan tickets from Amsterdam. They look great on top of some awesome vintage papers I got a couple of weeks ago.

See Mr. Cardinal (he looks like a robin from this angle but its a cardinal....just so pretty) up at the top of the evergreen tree? When we got home from Memorial Day weekend at the cabin...we came out of the garage and he was in my birdbath....of course, no camera in hand. I got the camera and kept hearing this bird call and call and call....sure enough he was at the top of our evergreen tree just like the star on the Christmas tree. He stayed there the whole time we unloaded and called to his mate. This I Saw Red week is fun!

As I was thinking today about the I Saw Red week and what I would post, it entered my mind......that GORGEOUS picture of that alleyway in Paris that I took on our trip last Sept. It was a sight to behold......hope you enjoy it.

I am participating in Sadie Olives
I SAW RED week. It is so ironic because I was going to post a pic of my fern leaf peony anyway this week. They usually bloom long before this but with our weird spring we are having, they are blooming now....enjoy........and be sure to click the link(I Saw Red) and see what all the other girls posted for red week ......tons of eye candy!

What a busy weekend! We went to my Aunt Barbs auction in South Dakota and I purchased this. We had a great time and the weather was perfect for an auction. I am going to paint it either creme or white.

Then Sunday we went to my Aunt Kay and Uncle Roald's 70th birthday party. The were born on the same day, were in the bassinets next to each other in the hospital and will celebrate 50 years of marriage next year. My cousin Lauri gave this fun magnet for my frig. THANKS LAURIE!
