Have a great weekend everyone! We are moving our youngest son to a different apartment on Sunday and hopefully the weather will cooperate.

I just love these roses....they are so dark and gorgeous....on sale at the grocery store..$6.99/ dozen...can't beat that. The background is one of my favorite polka dot tablecloths..I love how it faded out in the background with the roses front and center.

weekend at the cabin

We had a great time at the cabin this weekend. I got some fun pics. Heres some of the ferns.....I entitled the one on the top left " The Fern Awakening" What a great sight!

I got some great sun flair!

LOVE the shadow on the tree of a bird & leaf.

We saw so many gold finches but I only got this one great picture.

We saw 17 snapping turtles.....they must have been laying eggs.....here's two that I caught on camera.

Spring Flowers

I have been playing with my camera and textures again today. It's too darn cold to get out in the garden today....one of these days it will warm up! This first is my own book cover of my lilacs. I love the title! I really like this book texture...I'll be using it again I'm sure.

More of my lilacs. I have been practicing my sun flair...I think it turned pretty neat.

Last is pink petals from my ornamental crab tree. The wind blew hard last night and alot are now in the grass......too pretty to not take a picture and texture.

100 MILES of GARAGE SALES!

What a fun day yesterday with my girlfriends...We went to the 100 miles of garage sales here in MN. It was kinda cool and windy and a TON of people but we had a blast. We found some treasures along the way. I got this bag of vintage jewelry.....$2.50 for all. A minature silver tea pot......$2.00.

And this fun small shelf.....too cute!

It finally got really nice today so I am out cleaning the garden.......feels so good to be digging in the dirt!
