these sedum turned brown after they froze.....they look more soft burgandy with the sunlight shining on them. I got out there early enough and to my surprise the frost was still around the edges.....looks like God took his glitter and sprinkled them and what a beautiful sight! I love sedum as they look like tiny little florets.....

chic pumpkin
Here is one of my larger white pumpkins. It didn't have a stem.....no problem.....I put on a vintage rhinestone button. I have it displayed on a tarnished silver round tray.......love the simplicity of this.

my finds from Round Top, Warrenton & Marburger Farms flea markets
My finds from the Texas flea markets. I am realizing that I am really into the cremes, blacks and of course tarnished silver lately....Couldn't resist this minature diary from 1885. .....so fun to read.
I couldn't believe it when i found these.......they fit me like a glove! Not sure I'll wear them but had to buy them.....and they were so cheap!
I found this fun rusty metal holder.....perfect for all my tarnished silver.
I will cover up the yellow & blue name plate but not sure with what yet....any ideas?
French books!! They were everywhere but found these special ones to bring home.
Fun clock.......what is even more fun.....the name on it is Nielsen......my moms
maiden name.
Diane and I each got one of these.....a great holder for postcards, originally found in an old cash register. I also bought these wonderful roses out of vintage pattern paper.

back from Round Top Flea Market!
We are back from the flea markets in Round Top, Warrenton, and Marburger Farms. We had a blast! We went with another couple ...Diane and Mike and had a wonderful time. The weather was wonderful.....hot , humid and we loved it! We just let the sun soak in when we got off the plane.....we didn't have much of a summer and it felt so good. Heres a fun sign welcoming us to the flea market. Gotta love pink cowboy boots!!
There were so many wonderful antiques from France, Belgium and all of Europe.....heres a wonderful display of vintage books from France......
Here they are all lined up in this wonderful bookcase.
They make everything B I G G E R in Texas......Oh my gosh......this statement rang true the whole week......we have never seen such big stuff before! Seriously.......HUGE items...here's just one booth of massive stuff! It rained one night and even the lightning was bigger in Texas. When we told people that .......the Texans just laughed but its true! Oh and they thought we had the accent.....we laughed at that.
