The B*E*S*T BUY of the whole Summer!

We got a new GPS and had to try it out today. So we hit a few estate sales. The last one we went to ......it was the last day and everything was 50% off. Not much good stuff left and Pat, my husband said.......did you see those cement things in the backyard? GOOD EYE PAT! No......what are they? Well...........we went out there and here they were just waiting for me. The price for both..............are you ready..............you sure..................$5.00.............so today............they were

$2.50 for BOTH!!!!!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!

Here they are..........they will go in my garden someplace this spring..........but in the mean time......they are tucked away nicely in the garage for winter.....I think they are legs off of a bench at one time........what do you think they are?

And I love GPS too!!! Wish I had it years ago!

(Actually my friend, you have a lot to WhooooHooo about today!!! HAPPY HUGS!!)

What a deal! I agree that they are probably the legs of a bench. Anything cement and old like that always looks so cool in a garden.

Beautiful! Yes, they are the supports for a cement slab bench. My Mother has a pair in her garden but not as ornate as yours. I have seen them in salvage shops and they run about $125-150 EACH! I would say you got quite the deal there!

I wanted to add something..if they are level on top, you can add a piece of glass across the top and use these as a display shelf inside your home! I love bringing in vintage garden pieces like these. :)
